
Had a master's degree in biological oceanography at Paris VI University (1981) and a specialized diploma
DESS of marine resources and aquaculture, Caen, France (1982); worked in research on water treatment
of eel farm (1984, 1985) CEA (French atomic energy department, Pierrelatte, France) in integrated system with
water jacynth and Tilapia; worked at SEMDAC (Society d'Économie Mixte pour le Developpement de l'Aquaculture
Charentaise, (1986 -1990) to develop and promote new marine aquaculture in Atlantic salt ponds
(Kuruma shrimp Penaeus japonicus and Manila clam Ruditapes philippinarum).
Since 1990 works at CREAA, as technical manager until1999 and now as scientific and administrative
director.
Worked as engineer at the Region Poitou-Charentes experimental farm. I was Till 1999 in charge of the reared animals
and scientific work. Since 2000 (8 at this date) I am the manager of the CREAA,
2,8 millions Francs annual turnover.
I still support the scientific coordination of the farm and part of the scientific work.
